Apparently the Sci-Fi Channel is having a marathon showing tonight from six to midnight of old Mork and Mindy episodes. I have no idea why they are doing this. Perhaps they figure so many people will be brain dead tonight after spending all day shopping that they will not notice the lame programming.
I used to watch Mork and Mindy when it came out years ago when I was a teenager. I ended up getting sick of the show after a while because there is nothing more annoying than somebody trying to preach in the context of a television show. Robin Williams has an annoying personality, and I couldn't understand why Pam Dawber would put up with his character's obvious stupidity.
If you want to take a trip back to the late seventies and see what kind of nonsense sold soap on the tube back in the days, by all means tune in to the Sci-Fi Channel tonight. Someday I should thank Google for warning me of this kind of low quality programming.
