This seems to be the only picture I have of a Flying Saucer. It is of course a variety of Morning Glory. The Flying Saucer has a white blossom with just a hint of purple highlights in the petals. It is fairly large for a Morning Glory, and like others of its species opens up in the morning and folds up in the evening.
This is a shot from my garden the one year I grew a long row of various Morning Glories on a wire pea fence. I took many pictures of this row when it was in full bloom, but due to the ephemeral nature of these blossoms I only got this one shot of this variety. If anyone claims flying saucers are imaginary, well, look at the picture.
